The Processor project involves a 222,000 square-foot expansion and a 218,000 square-foot renovation of the existing facility to enhance the terminal. Its primary aim is to accommodate an expected 36 million passengers in the future. The project includes the creation of a new baggage claim hall, baggage handling system, ticketing hall, security checkpoint, and additional airline and airport support spaces. Furthermore, it will streamline security processing on the third floor, offering convenient access to concessions and concourses on the second floor. The expansion of terminal roadways will improve traffic conditions, enlarge the curbside area for passenger drop-off and pickup, and enhance passenger convenience through dynamic signage, intuitive wayfinding, and a ground-level check-in area.
